Creating Without Compromise: Aligning Your Destiny, Service, and Financial Growth

Dear friends,

Selling your soul is one of the greatest fears of many spiritual people. To betray one’s own soul purpose, mission and values for the sake of material gain.

And this fear is holding so many of us back, let me explain with an example.

As I was brainstorming a new idea for a freebie, I kept running into these internal objections: “I don’t want to create that”. “Everyone else is doing that” and other similar limiting thoughts.

What I quickly realised, is that I was worried about compromising my creative integrity or as I dramatically put it “selling my soul”. I have the heart of an artist when it comes down to it, so this is something that really bothers me.

I enjoy creating new concepts and phrasing things in certain ways. I thrive off being innovative. It gives me so much energy.

But the heart of an artist is not the heart of a servant? Did you know that?

An artist thinks first about what they wish to create. They are not preoccupied with the consumer. This is where entrepreneurs and spiritual practitioners have the opportunity to bridge the gap. By putting the needs of the customer or client centre stage. By giving them whatever they need to achieve their desired outcome.

Does this mean selling your soul?

I don’t think so. I think it means being service oriented. Being others focused.

When we can bring together a true orientation towards others (in the spirit of service) with our artistry and desire to create, we will crack the money code…amongst others!
