Your Relationship With Money Shapes Your Reality - How Are You Defining It?

If there is one thing I always want you to know, it’s the fact that there are multiple realities sharing this earth plane.

There are multiple realities to choose from, multiple ways of approaching the world and being in it. It’s all a matter of choice.

And it’s no different when it comes to our relationship with money. We have choices here too.

Let’s talk about it.

Ever heard some influencers say “money is my sugar daddy”? While I get the ick when I hear this, I can also acknowledge the relationship that person is CHOOSING to have with money.

Here are some options for you to consider, and I’m sure you can think of many more.

• Money as a benevolent parent

• Money as an authority figure

• Money as a spouse, provider or protector

• Money as a friend, team member or peer

• Money as a resource or tool

• Money as a servant

• Money as a scorecard

It won’t be lost on you that the relationship we choose to have with money will be largely influenced by other relationships we have had in our lives and our childhoods.

The question to ask now is whether the type of relationship you have truly serves your highest good.

That is something only you can decide, by looking at the results of your choice in your life.

I personally like to see money as a neutral scorecard recording the impact I am making in this game we call life. This makes it fun for me to acquire and attain without excessive guilt.

But it can also mean I attach my worth and sense of impact to it. I can feel like I’m not making a contribution to the world if I’m not also making money.

Every approach has pros and cons, we just need to be aware of it and learn how to manage the downsides.

Just because I generally see money as neutral, doesn’t mean that YOU need to at all. It’s all about what works for you, your energy and your spiritual path.
