The Dance Between Reality Creation and Destiny

Dear friends,

After exploring Genuine Authentic Desire yesterday, many of you might be wondering: So do we create reality or is it destined for us? This is a question many of us have grappled with.

I personally believe that we create reality but only along or within the path of our unique destiny. Our will to create and our desire to receive is what illuminates more and more of the path that has already been laid out for us. They are the keys that unlock the doors.

But the path is the path. The path is one.

Do we have a choice to veer off it? Yes. And nothing good will come of that. In fact when we are out of alignment, we lose our ability to create reality, we begin to feel powerless and become victims of circumstance.

But we always have the choice to align again. To come back to the centre.

The path is encoded in our DNA, in our very desires. It's why we want one thing and not something else. It's in our wiring. It's in our values. Our boundaries. What we are drawn to and what we hate.

In one sense, we ARE the path.

Although the path is infinite, we are not always moving on it. Sometimes we stay put, we build a house on it and we live there for a while. Until the itch of desire beckons us to move again. And if we heed it, rather than burying that desire under society's mandate to be content, we will discover that we were not at the end of the road at all, merely at the beginning of a new section of the road.

Crossroads are reminders that there is a way planned for us, one that suits us best, to remind us that while we are able to choose, we have already chosen. If only we know how to pay attention to the omens and signs.

And while there may be bumps along the road, the path itself is not meant to be painful. There are periods of movement, and periods of rest, periods of sowing and learning and periods of reaping the harvest.

But you also need to show up for your destiny or it will not happen. Anyone who tells you otherwise does not truly understand the nature of destiny.

We get as much or as little as we are prepared to show up for, prepared to become for, prepared to evolve for. This is how we create reality.

We can’t outrun destiny. We can’t complete it. It's what keeps us alive.

And we awaken, once we realise that there IS a destiny path, one our highest self has etched out for us.
