How Shifting Your Perspective Elevates Your Frequency

TLDR: Your perspective determines your frequency.

Day 3 of the Hold Your Frequency Challenge!

Have you ever had an argument with your partner & you start telling yourself a story about how they don’t love you? Deep down you know it isn’t true but you’ve assigned MEANING to their actions that wasn’t there.

Humans do this all the time.

Your interpretation of reality can’t always be trusted. That’s why we have so many other senses, including our intuition.

So today’s lesson is all about PERSPECTIVE.

When we experience a fall in our frequency it’s often because we our observing our CURRENT reality, looking for evidence. This is completely backwards.

We need to be looking at the reality we are creating with our imagination UNTIL it is manifested.

We need to change our perspective.

Our journal prompt for the week is also designed to help with this. It asks us to consider whether the negative thoughts we are having are TRUE.

When we are waiting for a train to arrive that happens to be late, we have no way of knowing the real reason. We could tell ourselves the lateness means that the train isn’t coming. We can tell ourselves that it means that there was an accident, OR we can tell ourselves that something incredibly exciting happened on the train.

Perhaps Rhianna got on the train with her whole entourage & it caused such a commotion that the train was delayed.

In the absence of concrete information, we can choose a more positive story to keep our brains occupied.

This is very similar to techniques that are used in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

So today I want you to journal on this question: In what way could this delay or perceived negative situation actually be positive?

Use your imagination.

Perspective is Queen. It opens up creative solutions. It opens us up to expansive possibilities.
