Desire, Becoming, and Receiving: The Destiny Manifestation Path

Updated: Feb 7

Dear friends,

Merry Christmas!

And welcome to day 1 of our Journey to Destiny as we use the liminal space between Christmas and the New Year to re engage with our Destiny path.

This last week as I reflected on 2024, I was inspired to look back on my life as a whole and every significant thing I had manifested.

What I noticed was that the things I tried to brute force to make work, they never actually worked. It was only when I was inspired, when I truly got the nudge to do something, that it worked.

Maybe it’s just me, but I can definitely feel the difference between a decision made by my higher self vs my egoic self.

This reflection led me to finally conclude on something that -  although I’ve been saying for a while, I can sometimes go back and forth on. But I will no longer be doing that: Destiny is king.

Destiny rules all.

And more importantly, manifestation is primarily a function of Destiny.

What I’ve come to accept is that on the path of destiny, things manifest themselves naturally in the following way through: Desire - Becoming - Receiving.

Our desires are the catalysts that cause us to become in order that we might receive.

Desires are not the goal at all. They are merely the reason for the journey.

Our desires are the carrot to make us move in the right direction. They are sparks of intuition hidden in our current level of consciousness. In most cases they are a shadow of what we will eventually receive, not the thing itself. It’s like when we marry an amazing person (receiving) who was not our normal type (desire) and we are happier than we could ever imagine. That’s how this works.

Receiving is just the cherry on top, a by-product of becoming. And we don’t always receive what we desire, we receive what we intended before we came here.

Here is a summary to help you understand what I mean:

Desire

What: the catalyst for becoming

How:

  • Deconditioning from society’s “shoulds”

  • Discerning between genuine authentic desire and false desire

  • Knowing that desire evolves along the path of consciousness

Becoming

What: the natural consequence of pursuing desire

How:

  • Following the nudges - taking inspired & relevant action (i.e. doing the obvious)

  • Becoming skilled at what we are called to do

Receiving

What: the destiny aligned reward for becoming

  • Not necessarily what was desired but even better

  • AND The catalyst for new desire

How:

  • Embracing gratitude, contentment & celebration

Tomorrow, I'll share with you what Genuine Authentic Desire truly feels like and how to recognise it in your own life.

With love,

Lola
