The Three Realms of Money Mastery: Respect, Reward & Receiving

I can’t believe I’m nearing the end of my pregnancy journey. I’m extremely excited to meet baby boy but I have to admit that not knowing the exact date he will arrive is the cause of some anxiety!

It’s not unlike manifestation in that way…(Don’t worry I’m not about to make egregious parallels between manifestation and pregnancy - today anyway!)

Today I want to share with you a brief thought on the three realms of money mastery for spiritual entrepreneurs. As someone who has spent an entire career in corporate, I still see myself as a bit of an outsider to the spiritual business space. But I don’t see that as a disadvantage, in fact quite the opposite. I believe I’ve been given the gift of perspective, to bring two worlds together and help spiritual practitioners make a decent living (whether through their business or in other ways) and to step fully into their leadership.

So here are the three realms you need to master:

+ The realm of respect

+ The realm of reward

+ The realm of receiving

Respect (Character building): This is about how to appreciate money while building the strength of character to manage, keep and steward money. Knowing your numbers is part of this. You can’t respect money if you keep your head buried in the sand. Unfortunately, many spiritual folk aren’t particularly good at managing money (a function of living uncomfortably as a bridge between two worlds) and often carry a lot of shame about that. However, it does not need to be this way at all.

Reward (Skill building): This is about earning money in exchange for work performed or services rendered. Early on in life we hopefully learn that money is an exchange. It makes sense therefore, to look for the easiest places to get financially rewarded and build the skills necessary to earn those rewards. In this realm, we align to what money wants (i.e. we go to where money ALREADY IS, rather than trying to make it come to us.)

Receiving (Leadership): This is about alignment. Being able to receive money from being our most honest and whole selves. It’s here that we can easily download divine strategies and creative ideas for making money. Our identity is rooted in a deep confidence and ability to command what we want. We don’t judge ourselves for wanting what we want. Money aligns to our leadership and vision.

You may read all of this and immediately think about how you can be in the third realm of receiving. That would be a mistake. ALL realms must be mastered. We need to master mind, soul & body as long as we remain on this Earth plane and money is definitely not a good place to practice spiritual bypassing (lest you want to be poor and struggling). But you already know this don't you?

Aren't we all bored of asking why "bad" people have and make money? I definitely am.

P.S. My next challenge is on The Shadow of Money and it will start in September. If you’ve done shadow work before, you likely haven’t done it in a way that focuses on money. Get ready to have your mind blown and your perspectives shifted. Awareness is the prerequisite to change.
