Why Wanting to Be 'Normal' Might Be Blocking Your Wealth and Success

Dear friends,
I just want to be normal.
How many times have you caught yourself saying or thinking that? I know I’ve said it, thought it, and even prayed it more times than I can count.
I didn’t want to be different - I just wanted to fit in. I wanted to be like everyone else with “normal” parents, a “normal” life, and “normal” experiences. Many times I didn’t even like the label "gifted" because it often meant standing out, leaving friends behind, and being on a different path.
Maybe you can relate?
This seems to be fairly common amongst those who have experienced trauma.
Even today, after years of spiritual growth and healing, I still catch myself falling into that old pattern of wishing to be “normal.”
But here’s the thing I’ve come to realise: success isn’t the norm, and, unfortunately, being wealthy isn’t normal either.
If this resonates with you, then what you’re feeling is a classic case of conflicting desires. You want to be abundant and successful, but at the same time, part of you is craving “normalcy” to fit in, to not be too different, and to not stand out.
These conflicting desires make it difficult to manifest what you truly want, because on one hand, you want to expand, but on the other, you’re subconsciously holding yourself back to fit into what feels familiar.
Here’s the truth: Money won’t make you normal.
It will actually do the opposite. It will set you apart.
This is why so many of us struggle to call in money. The deeper desire for normalcy can stop us stepping into our leadership and into our expansion. And until we do the shadow work to face these conflicting desires, we remain stuck.
If you’ve been struggling with this inner conflict or if you’re feeling called to break free from these old patterns, I invite you to join me inside The Financial Awakening - my 1:1 monetisation strategy and financial healing programme.
This is the work we do together, breaking through the limiting beliefs that keep us small, so we can align with the wealth and success that’s meant for us.
With love,
Lola
