Dear friends
It’s an unfortunate fact of life that sometimes the beginning of destiny alignment looks like a series of Tower moments.
It might be losing your job, or getting sick or a relationship breaking down. Sometimes it’s all of them at once!
However many don’t realise that when this is happening it might be the deep call of Destiny, asking you to come back into alignment.
"Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the center cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world".
- From “The Second Coming” by William Butler Yeats
I’ve been mostly fortunate enough to usually spot when this is happening to me.
In fact if I hadn’t been hospitalised with meningitis in late 2023, you probably wouldn’t be reading this email right now!
At the time, I was working on how to accelerate my leadership coaching practice and was launching free masterclass on vision setting.
I struggled through that masterclass, incredibly sick with what I thought was the flu. 2 days later I was in the hospital with the most excruciating headaches, I can’t even describe to you.
I knew instantly that I was on a destiny redirect. I was on a pause. I couldn’t work. I couldn’t worry. I couldn’t plan the future.
All I could do was receive medical attention, sleep, eat and watch trashy daytime TV. I was being called to REST.
If we are able to listen to the call when things are falling apart all around us, we are in for an amazing breakthrough.
It was a couple of months later that three different spiritual practitioners helped me understand that it was time for me to adhere to the call of spirituality on my life.
It had always been there, but it hadn’t been the right time and this particular tower moment was to get my attention.
And after years of trying it was also the time for me to get pregnant (eek!). More on this another time...
Tower moments are designed by your Destiny to get your attention.
Here is what I posted on Threads this week, just so you know that you aren't alone:
Please how do I make the Tower card go away?
It’s been literally months now 😩
The comments pretty much said the same thing, embrace it, lean in, learn the lessons.
I hope this helps you.
Here are the journal prompts to contemplate this week:
How have I dealt with setbacks or tower moments in my life?
Have I been able to discern the messages they have for me?
How can I catch these moments early and turn them into opportunities for destiny alignment?
Try this affirmation or write your own: When things fall apart, it’s not meant to destroy me, it’s meant to redirect my attention.
With love,
Lola
